It’s been a rough go for the citizens of Alexandria. Ever since they came across that lunatic with the barbed wire-covered baseball bat, their idyllic post-apocalyptic community has been ravaged, looted, and now bombed to high hell. The survivors are currently hiding in a sewer as they wait for the latest assault by Negan and the Saviors to cease.

We’ve got new pics of Rick, Daryl, and more. Plus: Two disgusting new zombies!
Andrew Lincoln as Rick
Rick is a man on a mission in season 8, and that mission is to free Alexandria — and the Hilltop and the Kingdom — from the clutches of Negan.
First up, it’s Norman Reedus once again perched on his motorcycle as Daryl Dixon. Daryl had a bit of a rough go of it last season (which is putting it mildly). But here, he’s got himself a motorcycle and a crossbow, so how bad can things really be?! I suppose that depends on how things go in the all-out war against Negan and the Saviors.
After the cliffhanger ending of Season Six, it seemed an awfully long wait for the return of The Walking Dead. With the new season fast approaching, we were excited to hear from the cast as they reveal what they think about returning to the series after such a traumatic ending to the last season, how they feel about Negan, and speculate on what will happen to Rick and the group as the new series starts.
Over the next few days, we’ll share with you some of what the cast can reveal about Season 7 of The Walking Dead.
Today we hear from Andrew Lincoln (Rick Grimes), and Norman Reedus (Daryl).
The Walking Dead is well into filming on season 5 of the apocalyptic zombie drama, so we figured it was time to check in and see how things were going down on the Georgia set. We dialed up our main man Norman Reedus to get a feel for the vibe down there, and Reedus is definitely pumped about what has transpired so far. “These scripts are the best scripts so far, and I’m really just excited to be back at it,” says the man who plays Daryl Dixon. “There are a lot of characters right now, so there are a lot of really different personalities on set. And it’s super interesting, everyone’s really bringing it. It’s going great. It’s so dynamic because it’s so fast-paced and so complicated. It’s great to be back.”
“We wanted to remind Emmy voters of both the beauty of the actors’ performances and the powerful storylines that motivated them,” AMC’s marketing guru tells THR.
AMC is reminding Emmy voters that The Walking Dead is more than a genre show and ratings hit.
On “The Walking Dead,” Norman Reedus plays Daryl Dixon, a rough-around-the-edges hick with a heart of gold — and a penchant for employing a crossbow to shoot zombies in the face. In real life, he’s a 45-year-old dad who orders in french fries via Seamless, eating them in his Chinatown pad while lounging in a onesie that he says resembles a cat costume.
Glenn seeks higher ground; Daryl in the woods; Michonne’s new pets; more peeks.
Back in December, Comicbook.com provided a couple spoilers for the remainder of Season 4 of The Walking Dead. One of the spoilers was that fans could expect to see a lot more Norman Reedus during the second half of the season. In fact, ComicBook reported to expect at least one episode focusing on Reedus’ character Daryl Dixon.
